JASON W. JUTZ
Attorney at Law
Jason W. Jutz is a skilled litigation attorney with a focus on construction defect litigation and contract law. A graduate of the University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law (2016), he holds several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, as well as specialized certificates in Native Hawaiian Law and Environmental Law. During law school, Jason served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Hawaii Law Review and represented the school on its award-winning Jessup International Law Moot Court team, advancing to the international round in Washington, DC, as regional champions.
Known for his vast experience in alternative dispute resolution, Jason has handled numerous mediations and arbitrations, including a complex class action arbitration. His strategic approach and attention to detail have established him as a dependable advocate for clients navigating intricate legal challenges.
Beyond his legal career, Jason has a distinctive background, holding degrees in both culinary and patisserie arts, and he worked his way through college as a chef. He also spent two years as a SCUBA instructor in Aruba, bringing a dynamic, well-rounded perspective to his professional life. An Eagle Scout, Jason remains dedicated to community service, having volunteered with Project SHINE and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
A member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and licensed to practice in Hawaii, Jason is admitted to practice before all state courts of Hawaii, the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Hawaii’s natural beauty, especially hiking and backpacking along the scenic Puna Coast on the Big Island.
